'Shit!' he cursed as he scrambled to get dressed, only to realize he had left his wallet at home. 'Shit, shit, shit,' he muttered as he ran back to his apartment. His neighbor, Lily, was walking her dog when Jack came barreling out the door. The dog, of course, stopped right in the middle of the sidewalk to take a shit. Jack dodged the mess with a curse, 'Great, now I’m stepping in shit!' he grumbled. By the time he finally made it to the subway station, he was sweaty, frustrated, and covered in a little bit of the dog's mess. 'Shit, this is the worst day ever,' Jack thought, staring at the ‘Out of Service’ sign on the train platform. As if that wasn’t enough, the coffee shop had just run out of his favorite brew. 'Well, shit. Guess I’ll go to work without coffee today.'
